Make a booking understandable from the first choice to confirmation.

A booking system connects customer expectations with a team's actual capacity. We start with appointment length, locations, buffers, cancellations and the people who can change a schedule.

Choose the right booking approach

An existing hosted tool may handle the task well. Where it falls short, we can improve the surrounding website, connect information to a CRM or build a more specific flow. Payment and refund behaviour must be agreed before a checkout is designed.

Visitors should know whether a slot is reserved, merely requested or fully confirmed. Staff need to recognise duplicate requests and see what happens when an email does not arrive. Time zones and clock changes matter for services booked from abroad.

Acceptance examples

Test two people selecting the last slot, a customer returning from a payment provider and a member of staff cancelling an appointment. Agree the fallback when an external calendar is unavailable. These examples provide a better brief than a request for a calendar-shaped page.

A GOOD PLACE TO START

One task. One clear next step.
